Dedicated to sparking curiosity and developing critical thinking skills from an early age, Longfellow Elementary School’s STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) program integrates hands-on activities and interdisciplinary projects into the curriculum.

Students at Longfellow engage in a variety of exciting STEAM initiatives. They might be found in our Makerspace designing and building simple machines in an engineering challenge, coding robots through mazes, exploring the principles of electricity through interactive experiments, or expressing their artistic sides in our art room.

The Longfellow STEAM program aims to prepare students for a future where adaptability and innovation are key.
